Prime Minister and LDP President Yoshihide Suga attended a video conference for G7 leaders held in response to the Taliban, an Islamic organization, effectively seizing control in Afghanistan. In addition to policies and programs to avoid a humanitarian crisis, he explained that Japan would send in its Self-Defense Force aircrafts to safely evacuate its citizens and embassy staff from the country.
