Prime Minister and LDP President Yoshihide Suga attended the G20 Riyadh Summit, which was held online. He appealed for coordination among the leading countries to ensure fair access to therapeutics and vaccines for Covid-19, and expressed his commitment to holding the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics next year as well as achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
