Prime Minister and LDP President Yoshihide Suga met with Prime Minister Scott Morrison of Australia, and confirmed their commitment to close coordination for the achievement of a "Free and Open Indo-Pacific". They also reached a broad agreement on a "Japan-Australia Reciprocal Access Agreement" to define the legal positions of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces and Australian military within their joint exercises.
