Prime Minister and LDP President Shinzo Abe held talks with the King of Saudi Arabia, King Salman, in Japan. His visit is the first by a Saudi King in 46 years, since that of King Faisal. Prime Minister Abe expressed Japan's eagerness to develop bilateral relations in a wide array of areas, including politics, the economy, and culture.
