◆ "You must not publish things that are not factual"

"The role of the mass media is to communicate facts to the people. It goes without saying that the media must not publish things that are not factual. When mistakes happen, it is crucial that they be quickly corrected. Obviously, press organizations will have their own opinions, and they are free to express them. However, there must be a clear distinction between stories that communicate facts and the portions that express opinion, and the facts, at the very least, must be communicated correctly and accurately."
