Prime Minister and LDP President Abe received a courtesy call from a delegation representing youth participants in the "Ship for World Youth Program ~MEIJI 150th~" project. He told them, "Each country of the world is confronted by global-scale problems, and I want you to use the networks you build in this program to help solve them." The Prime Minister went on to express strong expectations for what the young people would go on to do in government, international institutions, and NGOs, encouraging full use of their experiences at sea and of the friendships they develop during the program.
