Mr. Guterres was the first UN Secretary-General to attend the "Nagasaki Peace Memorial Ceremony". He and Prime Minister and LDP President Abe share the common goal of a "nuclear-free world." The two leaders agreed on the importance of the full implementation of Security Council resolutions by the international community to achieve denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula and on the needs to reform to the Security Council and other UN organizations.
