Prime Minister and LDP President Shinzo Abe and US President Donald Trump agreed that, in the response to North Korea, "now is not the time for dialogue, but for maximum pressure." As more and more countries scale back their diplomatic and economic ties with North Korea, the two leaders reconfirmed the necessity for the international community to fully comply with the Security Council Resolution.
