Prime Minister and President of the LDP Shinzo Abe met with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. At the end of their meeting, they published a "Joint Declaration on Comprehensive Partnership." Included in the agreement were a 45 billion yen loan for the expansion of Bandaranaike International Airport, promotion of investment, and cooperation for Sri Lanka's national development plan.
